Corvette Stingray 2014

The Corvette Stingray 2014 is what Corvette want to make to replace the original Stingray. The original Stingray was an icon for sure, being up on most car lovers' bedrooms, and taking the limelight in the car shows along with some other top tier muscles. But with this fresh reincarnation, Corvette need to heavily think on what they are doing. Incorrect execution is going to set them back a lot, they have a lot to live up for. And thankfully, they did it right. With this new Stingray they've taken the old base and moved it 44 years into the future. The new body design is straight up Transformers (ironically this actually was included in Transformers, I didn't even realise) and the specifications are brilliant. They are certainly not McLaren P1 but they definitely aren't Vauxhall Corsa. The 460bhp V8 is strong for an engine of its type, and it does get a lot of its potential power, as of course it is a muscle car, the hump on top of the bonnet is there, admittedly not as big as some older muscle cars. The top speed is unfortunately unspecified on the website (I only use one course) and the 0-60 is 3.8 seconds. All this is great for the price tag of the lowest version, probably having a bit worse specs (you'll still get the look (and maybe feel) of the Stingray). Overall I am loving this new Corvette, but I only hope for a good engine sound.
