Toyota GT86
The Toyota GT86 was Toyota's attempt to make a flagship sports car that is cheap and affordable, while having great aesthetics and functionality. They definitely succeeded. Starting off with the appearance. I think that it looks fantastic. The blend of an aggressive front and an aggressive back, which both look stunning are then tied together with calm, sleek curves along the sides of the car make for a brilliant appearance. The rigid, square shapes help to make it look fierce and aggressive, but all of this aesthetic beauty does not exist without purpose. It exists to provide the car with natural cooling. All of the grills and vents help to flow and channel air through a tunnel system and reach the engine. A 2.0litre boxer engine, with 200bhp. These statistics and specifications seem very bland, and puny. But when a price tag of £25,000, the cost is absolutely astoundingly cheap for the appearance and the specifications. This car will have no problem supplying you with the service of being able to take you to do some shopping due to the engine being at the front. It has a 0-60 time of 7.6 seconds, which is honestly enough to get you to where you need to go without being to excessive that the price tag would have to have added value added on to it and you would have to pay a fortune. The top speed isn't listed on the website, presumably because the top speed isn't required to be known so that people can put it to "excessive use". I refer personally refer to it a utilisation. So, overall, I really like this car and can see it selling really well as a used car. The only major problem with it is the appearance does not suit the specifications, and I can definitely tell Lexus with their LF-A was a major inspiration.
