Forza Horizon
Forza Horizon has been released, and although this post is a bit late considering the release wasn't recent, I have only just started to re-post back onto this site. It's hard to complete this site and other stuff at the same time, but I obviously give it my best shot. Anyway, it wasn't that long ago that Forza 4 came out compared to Horizon, as the gaps between 2 and 3 was around 3 years or something. Might have been between 3 and 4. Aside from this, Forza Horizon is quite different to its predecessors, as it has a free open world to explore, much like Test Drive Unlimited was famous for. It has replaced the race tracks and circuits, and instead placed you on the wild American West. Again, similar to TDU. However, it's not all free roaming. There is a story to it, and much like every other racing game, you have to rise through the ranks to become the best. It also features actual people and characters, which was deemed quite a shock to many and actually spoil a little bit of the game, but the screen time they take up is not an issue at all. The only real reason for anyone to buy this game over Forza 4 is if they prefer the more open world exploration, and more geological input and effort compared to the actual driving. In my honest opinion, this game has seemed to take on the aspect of many other free roam racing games, not keeping it's original Forza mentality. I'd only get this for the landscape.
