Mercedes Benz CLS63 AMG

Recently in the Los Angeles motor show, Mercedes Benz announced their all new AMG counterpart, the CLS63 AMG. It will have a 5.5 litre Twin Turbo V8, instead of the previous 6.2 litre V8. Judging by the looks it seems to be very nice, the design keeping the same trend as the E-class re-vamp, because they both took and are taking the original smooth fluent light design to a new rigid design, when you look at the taillights and the headlights. Standard power sits at 518bhp and 516lb ft of torque, rising to a ridiculous 549bhp and 590lb ft with the additional performance package, channeled to an awesome piece of oversteer via Merc's seven-speed semi-auto gearbox. Many have been debating that the name CLS63 should be changed to the CLS55 because it isn't a 6.3 litre anymore, well it isn't a nearly-6.3-litre model. I personally would dislike this change if it happened, as for the fact that to me the lower the numbers, the less impressive the thing you are talking about will become. It obviously sits lower (15mm) and wider (24mm) than a basic and standard CLS, which, together with basic-fit 19-inch alloys, 'V8 Turbo' badges and an epic bodykit to clearly mark out that this car is nothing to be messed with. If you care about economy for a car based for speed, iy does 28.5mpg. Probably when it's going at 1mph.
